Diasyn Syrup – For Diarrhea & Dysentery

Description

A soothing combination of drugs for the treatment of diarrhea and dysentery.

Composition

Each 5 ml of syrup contains

Balharde (Terminalia chebula) 28 mg
Bael (Aegle marmelos) 14 mg
Kurchi (Holarrhena antidysenterica) 56 mg
Darhald (Berberis aristata) 886 mg

Indications:

Amoebic and bacillary dysentery, diarrhea, mucous colitis, intestinal fermentation, and in infantile diarrhea.

Dosage

1/2 Tsp 3 times a day for children between 5 weeks to 6 months

1/2 Tsp every 6 hours for children between 6 months to 6 years

1 Tsp 3 times a day for children above 6 years

Additional Information

In case of dysentery where loss of blood with stools is seen, Chiniumco should be given to the patient.
