Product Description

Combination of well-known antacids with Belladonna for the treatment of peptic ulcers and hyperacidity.

Composition

• Magnesium Trisilicate I.P. – 250 mg
• Dried Aluminium Hydroxide Gel I.P. – 125 mg
• Extract Belladonna Dry I.P. – 5 mg

Pharmacology

Antacids are among the most widely used drugs. In peptic ulcer patients, excess stomach acid contributes to pain and delays ulcer healing. Effective antacids must reduce gastric acidity and maintain this action over a prolonged period.

Magnesium Trisilicate and Aluminium Hydroxide have long-lasting acid-neutralising properties and are considered highly effective antacids. Since they are not absorbed, they produce no systemic effects.

Extract Belladonna counters vagal stimulation, reduces acid secretion, and relieves pain by reducing spasm.

Indications

• Peptic ulcer
• Hyperacidity
• Acid dyspepsia

Dosage

Adults: 2 tablets, chewed and swallowed, 15–30 minutes before or after food.
If pain occurs between meals, suck 1 or 2 tablets.

Children: 1 tablet.

Box of 50 blister strips of 10 tablets each.
