Anti-spasmodic tablets for control of cough, especially Whooping Cough

Composition

Each uncoated tablet contains:

• Dudhi (Euphorbia pilulifera) – 49 mg
• Nala (Lobelia nicotianaefolia) – 30 mg
• Vasaka (Adhatoda vasica) – 30 mg
• Phitkari – 14 mg
• Huma (Ephedra gerardiana) – 36 mg
• Jethimadh (Glycyrrhiza glabra) – 7 mg
• Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) – 3 mg
• Chotachand (Rauwolfia serpentina) – 2 mg
• Balatagra (Valeriana wallichi) – 2 mg
• Haldi (Curcuma longa) – 0.31 mg
• Sunth (Zingiber officinale) – 0.08 mg
• Ajwan (Ptychotis ajowan) – 0.11 mg
• Aunla (Emblica officinalis) – 0.04 mg
• Pippli (Piper longum) – 0.04 mg
• Jeera (Cuminum cyminum) – 0.04 mg
• Saunf (Foeniculum vulgare) – 0.24 mg

Indications

Harassing spasmodic cough, especially whooping cough.

Dosage

Children: 1/4 to 1/2 tablet every 4 hours.

For smaller children, tablets may be crushed and mixed with honey. In severe cases, the dose may be repeated every 2 hours.

Additional Information

To raise general resistance and promote quick recovery, it is advisable to give Albo-Sang with milk twice a day.
