A soothing combination of drugs for the treatment of diarrhea and dysentery.
Composition
Each 5 ml of syrup contains:
- Balharde (Terminalia chebula) – 28 mg
- Bael (Aegle marmelos) – 14 mg
- Kurchi (Holarrhena antidysenterica) – 56 mg
- Darhald (Berberis aristata) – 886 mg
Indications
Amoebic and bacillary dysentery, diarrhea, mucous colitis, intestinal fermentation, and infantile diarrhea.
Dosage
Children 5 weeks to 6 months: 1/2 tsp, 3 times a day.
Children 6 months to 6 years: 1/2 tsp every 6 hours.
Children above 6 years: 1 tsp, 3 times a day.
