Koflyn Syrup – Cough Syrup

Description

Syrup containing well known Ayurvedic expectorant drugs for treatment of cough. Also indicated in the treatment of asthma and bronchitis.

Composition

Each 5ml of syrup contains

Vasaka (Adhatoda vasica) 135 mg
Dudhi (Euphorbia pilulifera) 30 mg
Huma (Ephedra gerardiana) 90 mg
Jethimadh (Glycyrrhiza glabra) 210 mg
Senega (Polygala chinensis) 30 mg
Nala (Lobelia nicotianaefolia) 15 mg

Indications:

Infants and children’s cough associated with infection, irritation, bronchitis and broncho-spasm. In children’s intractable chronic cough and asthmatic cough.

Dosage

Infants: 1/4 teaspoon 3 times a day.

Children 1 to 5 Years: Half teaspoon 3 times a day.

Children above 5 Years: One teaspoon 3 times a day.

Adults: 2 teaspoonfuls 4 times a day (at 4 to 6 hour intervals).
