Description
Tonsillitis is the infection that, as the name suggests, affects the tonsil of a person. Mostly occurring in young children, tonsillitis is caused either by a virus or a bacterium. There are three main types of tonsillitis – acute, subacute and chronic. While the former is of bacterial or viral origin, the second is caused by the bacterium Actinomyces and the third can be caused by any bacteria. Tonsillitis needs to be treated early, lest it becomes a major problem, especialy in the later stages.
Causes Of Tonsillitis
Bacteria infection, Viral infection, Glandular fever, Strep throat, Toxicity of the system, Lower vitality, Sudden chill, Affliction of the throat, Chronic constipation.
Symptoms
Body ache, General body weakness, Headache, Fever, Sore throat, Difficulty in swallowing, Reddish tonsils, Tender and swollen tonsillar lymph glands, Loss of appetite, Vomiting, Abdominal pain, White or yellow spots of pus on the tonsils, Loss of voice (laryngitis), Abdominal pain in children, Earache, Bad breath.
