Description
A condition in which our immune system fails to recognize a harmless substance and attacks it with full strength trying to remove/destroy it completely considering it harmful for our body, which may lead to a very uncomfortable feeling is called allergy. The degree of problem/inconvenience caused due to such situation may vary from reaction on skin to a dreadful damage to a particular organ or entire body.
Causes of Allergy
The substance which causes allergy is called allergen i.e .Eggs, Peanuts, Fish, Shellfish, such as shrimp, lobster and crab, Tree nuts, such as walnuts and pecans, Cow’s milk, Wheat, Soybeans, Chocolates, Food poisoning, Recurring stress, Psychological factors, Pollen, Dust mites, Mold spores, Pet dander, Insect stings, Medicines.
Symptoms
Frequent headaches, High fever, Vomiting, Migraine, Dizziness, Depression, Itchy, scaly rash, Nervousness, Irritability, Asthma, Shortness of breath, Sneezing, Coughing, Running nose, Wheezing, Redness or flushing (erythema), Swelling (edema), Ear fullness and popping or itching, Dark circles under the eyes, Hives.

People with highly sensitive (hypersensitive) immune system, those who work in an environment where they are exposed to substances which are related to the actual substance, which causes allergic reaction in their bodies, can suffer from allergies. People also inherit allergies from their predecessors. For chronic recurrent attack an effort most be made to discover the factor responsible for it. Avoiding such food items generally keeps the susceptible man safe.
