Indigestion, more popularly known as upset stomach, is a condition in which the stomach of a person finds it difficult to digest food. Medically known as dyspepsia, it is characterized by chronic or recurrent pain in the upper abdomen. It irritates the esophagus and leaves a bitter or sour taste in the mouth.
